This Sunday Rinzai Zen Mission is celebrating Hanamatsuri (the birth of Shakyamuni Buddha). The service starts at 10:00am with lunch afterwards. It is a nice celebration. The congregations of Mantokuji Soto Zen Mission and the Paia Dharma Center join the Rinzai Zen Mission to celebrate. Priests from the Myoshin Ji Temple in Japan will be there as well. The service is simple and usually one of the priests gives a dharma talk. If you have the chance come check it out.
